Who I am Determines What I Do

When someone asks, “Who are you?”, how do you respond? I usually start with my name, followed by what I do. If its a person from Hawaii, I will include my High School and year of graduation. Sometimes I share my ethnicities. I love sharing that I am married and am a grandpa!

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit and speaking in Tongues are two supernatural activities given to us by Jesus Christ. Because He is the same yesterday, today, and forever [Heb 13:8], we can in 2024 receive these incredible gifts from Jesus. I have found that those Christians I admire most have an insatiable hunger to know and experience everything they can about Jesus. Their lives are infectious, in that they live, laugh, cry, and love deeply. They love to worship the Lord. They live to serve the people God has given them to love. And they are constantly looking for ways to talk about Jesus and lead others to Him. Now that is a great life!

Happy Easter!
I’ve enjoyed the privilege of sharing Easter messages for 38 years now, and you know what? It still blows my mind at how much you and I are incredibly loved by Jesus Christ! There is no greater act of Love EVER than what Jesus Christ did for us on the Cross. AND, after providing eternal forgiveness for sin, His physical Resurrection from the dead gives us an opportunity to live a live of righteousness, peace, and joy! Too cool!
