“Honoring Your Parents”
Last week Sunday my mom went to Heaven. It’s been a very reflective week for my family and me. Thought a lot about the privilege of taking care of her these last three years. I’ll be sharing thoughts about honoring our parents from Ephesians 6:2-3. No notes…just an incredible Scripture and a few stories from the heart.

We were going to take some time after church to think about “Connect” for Journey Church. But we will postpone that a couple weeks. We will do that on April 26 after church.

Seizing Your Divine Moment
Aloha and Welcome!
This week, Pastor Arlen shares about “Seizing Your Divine Moment”. Lessons taken from an often overlooked story in the Old Testament, we will explore the life of Prince Jonathan, son of King Saul. In his divine moment, he stepped into a divine moment and experienced a breakthrough for the nation of Israel.
After church, we are hosting a potluck to say “A Hui Hou” to Michael Chung, who will be moving to Japan to begin a new adventure in Jesus’ Name!

Come to Adullam

The countdown to our Re-Launch has begun. Pastor John begins our Saturday Training sessions at church service with a look at “The Cave of Adullam” — the training location for the Warriors of David who would help him defeat all adversaries and unite the Kingdom of Israel, But what were they like before they were Warriors?

Last week we explored the topic of fasting, defining it as “a Christian’s voluntary abstinence from food for spiritual purposes.” We fast to seek answers, experience victory over personal sin, or as we” stand in the gap” and pray for people that God has given us to love we are “stuck” in harmful attitudes and behaviors.
